For the past ten years, a large portion of my work has revolved around the healthcare industry, particularly the public sector and private, not-for-profit market.  Recognizing this, a few select services have been added to the list on the home page and this represents a focus for my consulting practice.  Of course, my current commercial clients are still important to me and all prospective clients from any industry are welcome!

CPHIMS certification is still hard to come by, it seems.  As of now, there were only about 600 of us worldwide.

Long time, no news?  Working hard on a number of projects, including health information technology stuff, statewide organizing for a couple of things, and searching for a vendor for a system for community clinics to share for tracking their patients' demographics, appointments, and billing.

Last year I was awarded the certified professional in health information and management systems (CPHIMS) certification and am currently attending the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in San Diego.  Many educational opportunities and hundreds of key health information technology (HIT) vendors.
